JOB TITLE: Qubit Entanglement with Fault Tolerance Researcher
LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland
CLEARANCE: Clearable Candidate (no Visas) or Current Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
EDUCATION: PhD in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. 2+ years' post-PhD experience in quantum-information processing and/or quantum computing
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide technical assistance, review, and evaluation of proposed solutions for fault tolerant error correction of qubits.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 6+ years of research experience in quantum computing, demonstrating a deep understanding of physical systems, quantum-information processing, error correction, and fault tolerance. Recent experience in managing a quantum-computing effort may substitute for up to two (2) years.
• 2+ years' experience as a Technical SETA.
• 2+ years' experience managing multi-disciplinary, multi-institution research.
• 2+ years' experience in the IC, including experience with transitioning research products to other organizations.
