Quantum Infinite is hiring.

We are looking for an On-Prem Post-Quantum Cryptography Assessment Specialist for full-time, assignment-based work supporting client engagements in Texas.

This is a mid-career role for a cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, risk, compliance, or banking technology professional who is ready to work at the front line of one of the most important security transitions of the next decade: post-quantum cryptography readiness.

Quantum Infinite provides on-premises PQC assessment services for banks, financial institutions, and mission-critical organizations. Our delivery model is built around zero-data exposure, meaning sensitive client data remains within the client’s environment.

Role: On-Prem Post-Quantum Cryptography Assessment Specialist

Location: Texas client sites

Engagement Type: Full-time, assignment-based

Travel: Required

Travel & Accommodation: Covered by Quantum Infinite

Experience Level: Mid-career

In this role, the selected professional will support on-site PQC readiness assessments, cryptographic discovery, CBOM development, risk documentation, stakeholder interviews, and migration roadmap support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting on-prem PQC readiness assessments

• Documenting cryptographic assets, protocols, certificates, applications, infrastructure, and third-party dependencies

• Assisting with Cryptographic Bill of Materials, also known as CBOM, development

• Identifying exposure to quantum-related risks, including Harvest Now, Decrypt Later threats

• Working with client IT, cybersecurity, compliance, infrastructure, and risk teams

• Supporting assessment reports, gap analysis, remediation priorities, and PQC migration roadmaps

• Maintaining strict zero-data-exposure and confidentiality standards

Ideal candidates should have:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, risk assessment, compliance, network security, systems administration, or banking technology

• Working knowledge of encryption, PKI, TLS, certificates, VPNs, identity systems, networks, and security architecture

• Strong documentation and client-facing communication skills

• Ability to travel full-time during active assignments

• Experience with banks, financial institutions, or regulated industries is a plus

• Familiarity with PQC, crypto-agility, CBOM, NIST guidance, GLBA, FFIEC, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 is a plus

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, CySA+, CEH, GIAC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or similar credentials are a plus
